Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as the lead actor in 'Saturday Night Live'. He then starred in
several comedies on the big screen, such as Elf as well as' Anchorman' and
‘Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began
his comedy career as an actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group called the
Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member for seven seasons and was
a huge comedic draw with off-color hits, such as Old School 2003 and Anchorman:
The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell was also a co-founder of the wildly
popular video streaming website Funny or Die, and was a successful voiceover
actor through animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell,
born on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the eldest child
of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), however, he
wasn't exactly a class clown when he was at University High School. The quiet
and studious Ferrell decided to leave his mark on the field of football which
is where he established records for school records for the number of field
goals scored. Even within the more secluded confines of his suburban home,
Ferrell displayed little of his outrageous, hilarious expressions that would
later determine his career. "Very even-tempered, extremely
easygoing," his mother recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You're
familiar with the Matchbox cars?" Will arrange his Matchbox cars on his
own and be extremely happy. It would be a simple question "Do you want to
go to Disneyland today?" or "You want your cars lined up?" And
he'd have to think about the idea. Ferrell was not a perfectly straight man,
but that's not to say that he wasn't. A glimpse of Ferrell's comic talents was
displayed each morning at high school when he disguised himself to announce
what was happening on the PA system. Ferrell was a graduate in 1986 and
attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. There he was a
member of the Delta Tau fraternity to pursue his dream of becoming a sports
journalist.
