Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. Her debut in a feature film was a small part in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody started modeling after being offered by a professional photographer. The result was an enviable career as a commercial model. Doody stringently avoided glamour and sexually explicit work. This was a policy she extended to her acting profession. When she was dragged into the sights of the casting director of the upcoming James Bond film she accepted a small part as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody's name appeared in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising actors from 1986. 38. Doody is only 18 at the time she portrayed Doody in the movie A Prayer for the Dying (1987), starring Mickey Rourke, is the tiniest Bond girl to be seen. Doody was an actress in silent films in a 1987 film adaptation from The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. The first time she played the lead in an episode from 1988 of the Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The actress played Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her biggest role yet as Austrian archaeologist and Nazisympathiser The doctor. She was scheduled to also appear in the remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, this project fell through. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. The following year, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. She was given the Almeria film award on the 21st of November, 2018.
